Aida Leisenring's Horse Trainer Client Charged with Doping Avoids Prison

In a huge win for the client, a New York horse trainer avoided prison thanks to Aida's vigorous advocacy and his cooperation with prosecutors.

As reported in publications ranging from Law360 to BloodHorse, Ross Cohen was facing a maximum sentence of five years with no mandatory minimum, supervised release for one to three years and/or a fine of $25,000-$75,000 for charges of horse doping.

He was sentenced to time served and supervised release.

As Ms. Leisenring said in an interview with Law360, "Second chances were invented for people like Ross Cohen."
