From the article, "In Rare Move, Appellate Division Reverses SUNY Disciplinary Finding for Student": "In a 3-2 vote, the panel found the Stony Brook University Appeals Committee erred in affirming a determination by a university review panel that a student violated codes of student responsibility by engaging in sexual contact with another student without her affirmative consent. “'We’re certainly gratified that the court issued a decision that is consistent with the evidence in this case and the record that was presented to the school in the disciplinary proceeding,' Aldea said in a statement."
