Media outlets in Dutchess County covered the trial of Nestor Ortiz-Ocampo, who was acquitted of homicide related charges in the fatal stabbing of a fellow student.
Bruce Barket, who along with Aida Leisenring represented Mr. Ortiz-Ocampo, said, "While we are thankful the jury acquitted our client of all homicide related charges, we recognize that a 16-year-old lost his life, tragically and unnecessarily. There were not winners in this case, but justice prevailed."
