“Crime & Justice Radio” launches April 12 and will air
Mondays 6-7 p.m. on LI News Radio
New York—April 2021 – Barket Epstein Kearon Aldea & LoTurco, LLP (BEKAL) a boutique criminal defense and civil rights firm with offices in New York City and on Long Island, today announced it is launching a new weekly radio show, “Crime & Justice Radio”, on LI News Radio.
The first episode of the hour-long show, which will air April 12 at 6:00 p.m., will feature hosts Bruce Barket, nationally renowned criminal defense attorney and firm founding partner, and Aida Leisenring, partner, former Legal Aid attorney and former Executive Producer of The Last Defense, the ABC death row docuseries. Mr. Barket and Ms. Leisenring have tried many high-profile cases together.
The show will also feature other hosts from BEKAL.
Crime & Justice Radio’s first guest will be Raymond Tierney, the Republican and Conservative Party nominee for Suffolk County District Attorney.
Mr. Barket said, “This radio show will be unlike any you have heard. Nothing is off-limits. We will discuss topics ranging from Supreme Court decisions to interesting cases across the country and locally, to new or proposed legislation and breaking news. With compelling guests and phone calls from listeners, we will entertain and inform on all things related to crime and justice, making some of these issues more understandable to listeners and not shying away from controversial topics.”
