Registration Now Open for Steven Epstein’s Man vs. Machine-Defending the DWI Case CLE Seminar

Registration is now open for the “Sixth Annual Man vs. Machine Seminar – Defending the DWI Case” which will be held on Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2018, at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, LLP, 200 Liberty Street, New York, NY.

This year’s program will include lectures on topics necessary to win a DWI case from some of the best lecturers around the nation and Canada. Topics will include the Intoxilyzer 9000, the breath testing device now being used for breath testing in all of New York City, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Steven Epstein will lecture on Crossing the SFST Officer and Crossing the Intoxilyzer 9000 Breath Test Officer, with demonstrations.

Joining Steven Epstein this year as presenters are: Jan Semenoff (Saskatoon, Canada) lecturing on the Intoxilyzer 9000; Anthony Palacios (Atlanta, GA) lecturing on understanding HGN;  Mimi Coffey (Dallas, TX) lecturing on telling the story in a DWI case; Eric Sills (Albany, NY) giving his annual  DWI case law update and Marika Meis  (New York, NY) who will lecture on People v. Odum and the rebirth of the 2 hour rule.

This year is shaping up to be the best year yet for many reasons. Seminars on the Intoxilyzer 9000 are rare and Jan Semenoff’s presentation will be a great way for attorneys to familiarize themselves with the new breath testing device being used throughout New York City and all of Long Island. The facilities provided by Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft are top notch and will include lunch. And finally, the lecturers are some of the finest and are being brought to you from Canada, Texas, and Georgia as well as New York. If you have not seen Anthony Palacios or Mimi Coffey speak you are in for a real treat!

I expect registration to fill up fast and suggest you register early. A link to the registration form can be found below.

I am looking forward to seeing you on Election Day!
